Nicki Minaj Satanic Grammys Performance 2012 Catholic League And Nicki Fire Back
The performance that really had everyone talking at the Grammys this year...

Nicki Minaj shocked everyone by mocking the Catholic church and performing rituals on stage for her Grammys 2012 performance.

Some say Nicki's performance was very offensive, as the night was supposed to be a tribute to the late great Whitney Houston, not a devil's playground.

But others say it was creative and artistic. You be the judge....

Here's what one fan said via Twitter:

Here's what some said via Twitter on Nicki's performance:

I love NICKI MINAJ, I really really REALLY do. But after Stupid Hoe and The Grammys.. prayer and rosary beads are a must :'(

Why Is Everyone So Insulted With Nicki Minaj And Her Grammy Performance. I Think It Was Just Her Way Of Showing Her Personality.

UPDATES: The Catholic League, issued this statement, blaming the Academy who puts on Grammys...

"Perhaps the most vulgar part was the sexual statement that showed a scantily clad female dancer stretching backwards while an altar boy knelt between her legs in prayer. None of this was by accident, and all of it was approved by The Recording Academy, which puts on the Grammys. Whether Minaj is possessed is surely an open question, but what is not in doubt is the irresponsibility of The Recording Academy. Never would they allow an artist to insult Judaism or Islam."

Nicki fired back via Twitter,

"Stay offended. Not a single F*CK is given," the Young Money Retweeted a message sent by a fan.

She added..

"Were they offended by 'the devil inside'? Shut-up & watch the movie b*tch."

As to why she did it, she told Ryan Seacrest,

"I had this vision for him to be sort of exorcised-or actually he never gets exorcised-but people around him tell him he's not good enough because he's not normal, he's not blending in with the average Joe. And so his mother is scared and the people around him are afraid because they've never seen anything like him. He wanted to show that not only is he amazing and he's sure of himself and confident, but he's never gonna change, he's never gonna be exorcised. Even when they throw the holy water on him, he still rises above."

"I wanted to create a movie"
